Ingredients:-
1 cup of Sago soaked in water for 2 hours and then drained and kept aside
1 litre of Coconut milk
2 tbsp. of Rice powder
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Green cardamom powder
Few strands of Saffron soaked in 2-3 tbsp of warm milk
15 Almonds soaked, skinned and finely sliced
Method:-
1. Heat 1 cup of water with Sago and cook for 5 minutes or until almost done.
2. Then add coconut milk, sugar, cardamom powder and boil for 2 minutes.
3. Make a paste of the rice powder with 3 tbsp of Water and add it to the kheer.
4. Stir the kheer continuously until the kheer turns slightly thick.
5. Garnish with the saffron milk, almonds and serve.
Sabudana Kheer is ready to eat!
